Water does not hydrate

WATER DOES NOT HYDRATE

Hydration is the process in which the body absorbs water to regulate body temperature, lubricate joints, and much more

Even if you drink a lot of water during the day, you will not be able to hydrate enough to keep your intake necessary for the effort that you make. In order to be hydrated enough, you also need electrolytes to assimilate the consumed fluids.

During the effort, your body sweats and loses minerals, so you can keep your energy at the same level if you use electrolytes, otherwise you will be in deficient. In order to check the authenticity of the given information, I suggest you to do an intensity training where you consume only water, after this, try to repeat the training in 2 weeks and this time to consume electrolytes instead of water, you will see the difference between them, but also, you will feel it in your next trainings.

I suggest you to try different flavors and different producers until you find one that you like. Maybe you don’t like electrolytes from store or you don’t want to consume such things so you can use electrolytes as: magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium.

The easiest way to get the necessary electrolyte intake is by starting to put a pinch of salt in your water and to bring some extra vitamins and taste, you can also use a little juice from a lemon or any fruit you like.

Dehydration is the absence of water in your system caused by simply not drinking enough

The best method is to use an isotonic powder …        I personally use the an isotonic powder from Isostar Romania, more precisely, my favorite is Isostar H&P with grapefruit flavor.

 GOOD TO KNOW!

Coffee only dehydrates IF you drink more than 3-4, and this would happen due to caffeine which can have a diuretic effect that facilitates fluid loss
